Implementation Planning
Get into the practical aspects of asset allocation with AllocationMaster's implementation planning module. It's a unique feature that you will find only in AllocationMaster. Designate the investment product transactions that will be required to achieve the asset allocation plan. Create specific implementation proposals that will facilitate decisions.
Investment Products
Create a database of investment products that relate to each asset class. There is no limit on the number or type of investment products that can be used. Use mutual funds, money manager products, individual securities, etc.
For each specific investment product, indicate which asset class the product belongs to and enter an optional product description. A page of product descriptions can be printed which list the product recommendations and product descriptions.
Custom Editions: The investment products may already be incorporated into the program along with complete compliance-approved product descriptions.
Product Recommendations
Use the investment products in the client's current portfolio and the other approved products to create an implementation plan. Allocate the amounts in the proposed asset allocation to different products. Advanced features allow you to split funds between products, reverse entries and keep running balances. It's all here to make your job easier.
- Source of Funds. Indicate the investment products to be sold in implementing the asset allocation plan.
- Product Recommendations. Specify the products which will be purchased to meet each asset allocation target.
Sources/Uses of Funds
The final implementation plan is shown in easy-to-understand graphs and schedules:
- Product Mix Chart. A colorful pie chart shows the allocation of the client's assets to each investment product, grouped by asset class.
- Sources Statement. A schedule showing the source of funds organized around the client's present portfolio.
- Uses Statement. A schedule explaining the product recommendations organized according to the client's proposed portfolio.
- Product Listings. A description of each investment product that will be used in the implementation plan.
- Planning Notations. A scratch-pad for entering very specific implementation information.
